The story of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, has its roots in Israel's long and tumultuous history. So we join with Christians and Jews around the globe in living out the invitation of Psalm 122 to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all the land.

As a faith community, we pray for the Prince of Peace, Jesus, to fill the hearts of the Jews and Palestinians impacted by this conflict. We pray over all the grieving, the confused, the angry, the lost, the lonely, and the brokenhearted in the land. We pray that the Holy Spirit of God would breathe peace into the hurting and wisdom into world leaders and that we would see an end to this tragic conflict. And we humbly ask Jesus to transform us all into peacemakers so that wars might cease and peace might reign. Amen. ✞

Ways to pray for Israel and Gaza

1. The Joshua Fund - The Joshua Fund is a charitable educational and humanitarian relief organization founded by evangelical Christian author and speaker Joel C. Rosenberg & his wife Lynn Rosenberg.

2. One For Israel - Established in 1990, ONE FOR ISRAEL began as a Bible college and has since expanded to a multi-faceted ministry with the express goal of reaching Israelis with the Good News of Yeshua, training and equipping the Body of Messiah in Israel, and blessing our community with Yeshua’s love.

3. EFCA Middle East Crisis Response - We exist to glorify God by multiplying transfor­mational churches among all people.

4. American Red Cross - As a neutral, humanitarian organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is providing aid, help with hostage releases, medical services and water purification supplies to all people affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
