We are passionate about helping your children grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and how much He loves them! Our desire is to help your child build a firm faith foundation so they can experience a rich, lifelong relationship with Him.

To do this, we provide age-appropriate worship environments led by our awesome volunteers and staff where kids can learn about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in a fun and engaging way. We look forward to partnering with you in the opportunity to support you and your child on their faith journey. God has so many good things planned!

Your little ones are important to God and the church. We have designed a weekend ministry environment where your child can be introduced to the faith and the character of Jesus through worship, storytelling, art, and play.

The curriculum and content for this age are focused on Introducing the Faith through the following Vital Truths:

• I can talk and sing to God anywhere and anytime.
• I am special.
• Jesus is my friend.
• Jesus loves me and died for me.

Learning the faith should be fun! Our weekend kids ministry is designed to bring the Bible to life through interactive stories, worship, and games. Our hope is to create an environment that encourages kids to ask questions and grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and who He uniquely created them to be.

The curriculum and content for this age is focused on learning the faith through the following Vital Truths:

• God has a plan for me.
• I can talk to God and ask Him tough questions.
• God is real, and I can trust Him.
• I understand God’s plan for salvation: Admit, Believe, Commit.

We are excited to announce an update to the schedule for our Mid-Week ministry for kids! Rather than running September - May, Hosanna Kids Mid-Week will offer two 5-week sessions for kindergarten - 5th-grade kids. One session will be offered in the fall, and one will be offered in late winter.
HKMW will continue to celebrate community and gather to study God's word. Worship, Bible stories, Community Groups (small groups), and fun games & activities will continue to be the foundational elements of our Mid-Week Ministry.  

This update reflects our desire to create a more consistent and engaging Mid-Week ministry experience. Sundays remain the core component in helping our kids learn and grow in their faith. 

This Schedule impacts Hosanna Kids Mid-Week only.
Middle School and High School students remain with the same September-May Schedule.

Mid-Week Fall Session: 6 weeks | Lakeville, Rosemount, & Shakopee | October 4 - November 8
Mid-Week Winter Session: 5 weeks | Lakeville, Northfield, Rosemount, Shakopee | February 21 - March 20

We hope your children will join us for both sessions & invite some friends from their school or neighborhood to join!

Winter session for Mid-Week is available at all our campuses.

Community is important! We have designed a small group ministry for kids that encourages them to build friendships and connections with peers their age and trusted leaders. Kids develop their faith by participating in group discussions, games, and activities. Engaging in Bible stories and worship is also part of the midweek ministry experience.

The curriculum and content for this age are focused on learning the faith through the following Vital Truths:

• God has a plan for me.
• I can talk to God and ask Him tough questions.
• God is real, and I can trust Him.
• I understand God’s plan for salvation: Admit, Believe, Commit

We offer baptism for children ages infant and older with a special dedication ceremony. Infant/child baptisms take place in and around weekend services, where families are recognized and prayed for.

A parent baptism class is required.

We are deeply committed to offering you opportunities for spiritual growth and leadership development while engaging with children. You're welcome to join us as a community group leader, a warm-hearted Children's hospitality greeter, or contribute to our production and worship teams, and much more.
